Administer medications and monitor patient conditions; document findings succinctly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC). Perform ongoing patient assessments, respond to changes in condition, and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Facilitate handoffs between the ED and admitting units and coordinate with unit secretaries and phlebotomy as needed. Maintain a safe and efficient nursing workflow with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio per unit guidelines; ensure timely interventions and patient safety.
