Job Description:
Position: RN - Nurse Manager/Lead
Must be interested in a temp to hire position if contract is a good fit. Do NOT submit travel only nurses
Department Details: Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages. Must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries
Required Certifications: BLS and CPI
Required Experience: 12 months of prior experience - including manager or lead experience
Preferred experience: Psych exp
# Beds: 50 (20 female/30 male)
Nurse/Patient ratio: 1 nurse on night shift; For the 7p-11p of the shift there are 2-3 BHA (techs) on shift. 11p-7 there is 1 tech on shift.
EMR: HCS - electronic
Dress Code: Scrubs
Additional Information: Voluntary patients, no restraints, Admin on call and Doctor on call at all times, no on-site security. Visiting hours are Sundays 1-4p. Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable.
Shift: M-F standard business hours with the expectation of working 2 floor shifts per month.
