Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical lab testsencompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, investigate discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory machinery.
• Assist in specimen collection and ensure samples are accurately prepared for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work environment while following regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
