This full-time role is based in the Fargo, ND , area, delivering refined fuels and gas to CHS customer locations. *This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus. Compensation Data This position offers a starting pay rate of $28.26 per hour , plus mileage at $0.5483 per mile Responsibilities * Deliver commodities to customer locations in a safe, punctual, and efficient manner. * Complete daily maintenance report and notify shop supervisor of any needed repairs. * Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as well as loading and unloading products. * Follow all guidelines and regulations for hauling bulk liquid products to include, but not limited to Petroleum, Propane, and Anhydrous Ammonia. * Maintain electronic logs and on-board computer with each shipment. * Utilize loading arms and hoses for loading and unloading * Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. * Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands - may include weekends Minimum Qualifications (required) * Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route) * Valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required * 2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience * Must meet age requirement * Ability to read, write, and communicate in English * Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately. Additional Qualifications * Demonstrated experience hauling hazardous materials * Demonstrated safety performance and consistent adherence to procedures in hazardous materials operations. * Demonstrated customer service and communication skills; interact professionally with internal teams and customers. * Demonstrated experience completing tanker product transfers (loading/unloading) and related documentation in a regulated environment. * Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Physical Requirements * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds * Ability to safely climb in and out of truck cabs and to the top of a tanker trailer * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; travel and time away from home as required by the schedule * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with regular exposure to hazardous materials. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
