Full Time Driver-Atlanta Metro Full Time DFT4, Atlanta, GA, US Salary Range: $20.25 To $22.25 Hourly About the Role The Full Time Delivery Driver position in Atlanta Metro is a critical role responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers across the region. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role. Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds safely. Strong knowledge of Atlanta area roads and traffic patterns. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with GPS navigation and route planning software. Customer service experience in a delivery or retail environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to assigned locations within Atlanta and surrounding areas. Load and unload packages carefully to prevent damage and ensure accuracy of deliveries. Follow assigned routes and schedules while optimizing for efficiency and timeliness. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to provide updates and resolve any delivery issues. Maintain accurate delivery records, including obtaining customer signatures and documenting any discrepancies or damages. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
