Overview

Auburn Advancement is excited to begin the search for a TES Donor Relations Stewardship Coordinator . The individual in this position will represent Auburn University and will provide direct support in the Donor Relations Department of Auburn Advancement.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• preparing acknowledgement letters for the Senior Vice President of Advancement and the President of the university (25%);

• preparing tribute notifications for gifts made in honor or in memory of an individual (25%);

• assisting with special impact reporting (20%);

• maintaining donor records with a high level of confidentiality;

• assisting with planning and executing recognition and stewardship records, materials and events (10%);

• monitors budget and prepares vouchers and statements for reconciliation (10%);

• participating in other special projects, which may include gift agreement related projects, donor societies, marketing functions or document templates for the unit and partner units (10%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution plus 1 year of work experience in public relations work and general office operations

OR

• Master's degree

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of public relations work is required.

• Candidates should have work experience that required them to exercise independent judgment and discretion to deal with routine to moderately complex administrative matters.

• Candidates should possess the ability to deal creatively, confidently and professionally with a wide variety of individual donors; and have the ability to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple projects.

• Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, written communication skills, intermediate/advanced computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook.

A skills assessment test may be administered.
