This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership while managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and organizational culture initiatives. The HR Manager ensures that human resource programs support business objectives and foster a positive, productive workplace environment.Position Responsibilities:Manage the HR function to support plant staffing initiatives for exempt, nonexempt and temporary employees.Provide HR support for two locations with multiple divisions and business units, across multiple shiftsManage compensation and benefits programs in adherence and coordination with ZF corporate standards, policies, and programs.Serves as a trusted partner to coach and guide leaders through employee-related situations and challenges.Provide HR guidance/input to supervisory/management team with regards to disciplinary actions (up to and including termination of employment).Investigate employee complaints and resolve conflicts in a timely mannerPromote employee engagement, morale and retention initiativesSupport organizational change management effortsManage annual performance review and salary review processCommunicate policies, procedures and practices relating to employment and/or employee relations.Participate in and coordinate internal training programs in adherence with ZF corporate standards, programs and policies; respond to government inquiries and audits for the plant location.Participate in planning budgetary and recruiting requirements; monitor budget expenditures.Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulationsEnsure compliance with the ZF Quality Management System requirements (ZF QMS) which includes IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).Essential Skills and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field12+ years of progressive HR Management experience, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administrationKnowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practicesKnowledge of manufacturing environment including shift modelsStrong communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution and organizational skillsFamiliar with plant HR principles and best practicesProficient with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applicationsProven organizational and project management abilitiesProven problem solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detailAbility to work in an intercultural environment with international colleaguesAbility to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and managementAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and personnelPreferred Skills and experience:Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fieldProfessional HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM SCP)Experience supporting multi-site locationsBe part of our ZF team as HR Manager and apply now!What Does DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) Mean for ZF as a Company?At ZF, we continuously strive to build and maintain a culture where inclusiveness is lived and diversity is valued.
