About the Role: The Make Ready Tech plays a critical role in the real estate and rental industry by preparing rental properties for new tenants efficiently and to high standards. This position ensures that each unit is clean, safe, and fully functional, addressing maintenance and repair needs promptly to minimize vacancy periods. The Make Ready Tech collaborates closely with property managers and leasing agents to meet move‑in deadlines and maintain tenant satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Ultimately, the Make Ready Tech contributes directly to the overall success of property operations by enhancing the appeal and functionality of rental units. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques relevant to residential properties. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related field. Familiarity with property management software and work order systems. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and tenants. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of rental units between tenant occupancies, including painting, carpet cleaning, and minor repairs. Inspect properties to identify and address any damages or safety hazards, ensuring all work meets company and regulatory standards. Coordinate with property management to schedule make‑ready activities and report on progress and any additional repair needs. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each unit. Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes. Skills: The Make Ready Tech utilizes technical skills daily to perform repairs, maintenance, and cleaning tasks that prepare rental units for new tenants. Attention to detail is essential to identify issues that could affect tenant satisfaction or safety, ensuring all work meets quality standards. Communication skills are used to coordinate with property managers and report on job status, facilitating smooth operations.
