Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a detail-oriented and quality-driven Quality Lab Technician in McDonough, GA. In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for performing quality inspections, conducting laboratory testing, and ensuring products meet company and customer quality standards. In a Quality Lab Technician job, you'll be responsible for:

• Performing laboratory testing and inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

• Collecting and documenting test results accurately while maintaining detailed quality records.

• Using measuring instruments, testing equipment, and laboratory tools to verify product specifications.

• Identifying quality issues and communicating findings to production and management teams.

• Assisting with investigations of non-conforming materials and supporting corrective actions.

• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing.

• Following company quality procedures, safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) where applicable.

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.

What you'll need:

• Previous experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or manufacturing quality assurance preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.

• Ability to read and interpret specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.

• Basic computer skills and experience entering data into quality systems.

• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other inspection equipment.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Availability for an in-person interview in McDonough, GA and flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift (other shifts may be considered).
