Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-house coverage for 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts within a 7-day period.
• Work 6 shifts of 24 hours each month, with 3 consecutive shifts scheduled twice a month.
• Manage an inpatient census of 1 to 5 patients daily.
• Deliver care in an 8-bed pediatric inpatient unit.
• Conduct inpatient pediatric care, emergency department consultations, newborn nursery duties, and circumcisions.
• Perform intubation, central line placement, and non-invasive ventilation as required.

Qualifications

• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are mandatory.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across specialties to support inpatient pediatric care.

Working Conditions

This role involves a dynamic environment with a focus on pediatric care, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of patients and the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranges from $125.00 to $150.00, subject to various factors such as the urgency of the position and your experience.
