Preschool Center Director

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Center Director to join the leadership team at their premier preschool in Hudson County, NJ. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a genuine love for children, and a strong commitment to education. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Full-Time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment Salary $52,000 - $64,000/year pending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employee Discount Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Professional Development Assistance Continuing Education Assistance Child Development Associate (CDA) Sponsorship Responsibilities Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future Develop strong relationships with our families Comply with state childcare licensing regulations Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment Willingness to serve in various roles as needed Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records Qualifications REQUIRED Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or a related field preferred. REQUIRED Leadership Experience: 3 years (or equivalent combination of education and experience that meets NJ DCF Director qualifications); position titles can include Director, Assistant Director, Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, Team/Department Lead Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
