Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - M/S TELEThis position is for an Acute Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The role involves providing quality nursing care to patients in a healthcare setting, focusing on monitoring and managing patients' telemetric needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.Educate patients and their families on health management and care techniques.QualificationsMust possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.Experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting preferred.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).State-specific checks, including the Tennessee Abuse Registry, must be completed prior to assignment start date.Orientation for new travelers is held weekly on Mondays, and candidates residing less than 60 miles from the work location may not be eligible for travel assignments. The healthcare facility is a fully accredited institution with a Level III Trauma Center status, serving the local community for over 60 years.
