Healthcare Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

4 × 10 hour shifts per week, approximately 40 hours/week. Varied start times include 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, or 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM. On-call duties are rotated among staff from 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM, with weekends scheduled every other Saturday.

The Healthcare Technician is responsible for providing critical support in various healthcare settings while ensuring a high level of patient care and safety. This role involves assisting medical staff in delivering care, preparing equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Support healthcare staff with patient care activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Participate in training and continuing education as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Experience as a Healthcare Technician or similar role.
• Certification as a Healthcare Technician (HT) and Healthcare Technician Laboratory (HTL) is required.
