Key Qualifications:

• Holds an active Florida Special Education Teaching certification (required for interview consideration)
• Experience delivering individualized instruction and classroom support to students with diverse needs
• Familiarity with crafting and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student and school needs
• Prior 1:1 special education experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction and direct support to an assigned student in accordance with their IEP
• Develop and implement lesson plans that address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
• Collect and document student progress, collaborating with other educators and specialists to ensure consistency
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, adapting materials and approaches as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for ongoing student success
