Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, assist residents and guests, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and professional presence. You will help with access procedures, observe activity, and respond to security-related concerns while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize visitor access, and document resident, guest, vendor, and/or delivery traffic in accordance with community rules and post orders.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with residents, management, and/or public responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the community, amenities, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports and logs related to daily activity, incidents, maintenance observations, and/or policy violations, and relay important information to site leadership and the next shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
