Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (37.5 hours/week) | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PET scans for an oncology-focused outpatient imaging department serving adult and geriatric patients
• Conduct venipuncture, blood draws, and start and maintain IV lines for radiopharmaceutical administration
• Safely handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in accordance with regulatory standards
• Operate GE and/or Siemens imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality nuclear medicine images
• Adhere to isolation precautions and utilize appropriate PPE throughout all patient interactions
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 12 patients per day in an outpatient oncology setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Valid New York State Department of Health License (must be in hand or have an ETA on issue date)
• NMTCB Certification
• Demonstrated PET imaging experience
• Proficiency in venipuncture, IV placement, and maintenance
• Knowledge of safe radioactive material handling, storage, and disposal procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT (N) and/or ARRT (PET) certification
• PET/CT experience and familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Previous Charge Technologist experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
