Grit City Books is a queer-owned, community-driven independent bookstore on 6th Ave in Tacoma. We believe books change lives, stories connect people, and bookstores should be welcoming spaces for everyone. Our shelves highlight underrepresented voices, local authors, and titles that spark curiosity and conversation, and our team is rooted in inclusion, care, and a shared love of connecting readers with great books. We're growing quickly and building a values-aligned team rooted in inclusion, curiosity, and care.
