Our TeamAt Koch Industries, our Principle Based Management philosophy is at the center of how we do business, and as an employee, you will begin your journey of understanding and applying the way we do business in your everyday work.What You Will DoUnderstand the solar and BESS services markets and use customer, market, and internal data to help prioritize business development opportunities consistent with short- and long-range commercial plans (O&M, Repowering, Restoration, etc.).Support organic sales growth by identifying prospects, preparing for customer outreach, and developing relationships with new and existing customers over their full asset lifecycle.Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop creative solutions for maintenance and service opportunities for their solar and BESS assets – promoting long term partnerships built on trustCapture customer feedback, competitive insights, and lessons learned, and translate them into recommendations to improve the sales process and Services offerings.Support proposal development, pricing, deal reviews, negotiations, and contracting by coordinating inputs from internal capabilities and subject matter experts.Partner with DEPCOM Business Development and cross-functional teams to deliver a coordinated customer experience and promote DEPCOM's One Source Solution philosophy.Develop value-based proposals that align DEPCOM's differentiated capabilities with customer economic outcomes.Participate in customer meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events to build relationships, strengthen market knowledge, and represent DEPCOM's capabilities and brand.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Professional experience in business development, sales, account management, customer success, or another customer-facing role with transferable commercial responsibilities.Experience using structured analysis, market insights, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration to support customer, operational, project, or commercial objectivesLegal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the futureAbility to travel up to 50% of the time based on business needsWhat Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)Experience in the power, renewable energy, utility-scale solar, BESS, EPC, O&M, industrial services, or another related technical industry.Exposure to energy markets or customer types such as utilities, independent power producers, developers, or asset owners.Experience supporting proposals, pricing analysis, commercial negotiations, contracts, or customer presentations.Demonstrated ability to learn technical products or services and communicate their value to customers.Education and/or prior roles in business, engineering, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field.For this role, we anticipate paying $90,000 - $140,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
