Burrito Shak in Cary, NC is looking for one prep cook to join our 21 person strong team. We are located on 2982 Kildaire Farm Road. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, reliable, and hard-working. Some food prep experience is required. This position will come with a consistent weekly schedule of 25-35 hours across 5-6 days and includes a bi-weekly cash tip-out.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes
- Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
- Label stock and inventory all ingredients
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and listen to team members
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- 1-2 years food experience
- Serv-Safe Certificate is Preferred.
