Construction Estimator Top Design-Build General Contractor in Milwaukee looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Team. A General Contractor Headquartered in Milwaukee, we are a premier, 100% employee owned commercial construction company. With offices nationwide, we specialize in a wide range of project types that are as diverse and wide-ranging as the communities in which we build. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation packages include but are not limited to: Base salary Project based bonus 401K match + profit sharing Full benefits including health, vision, and dental Vehicle allowance Maternity and Paternity leave Quarterly paid for events Company equipment (phone, laptop, etc.) As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in the preconstruction process by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure all bids are comprehensive and aligned with project goals. Key Responsibilities: Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Solicite and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Participate in bid strategy meetings and project handoffs. Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing. Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to execution. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in construction estimating Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and AutoCAD. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
