Room Attendant

Position Summary The role of the Room Attendant is to ensure 100% guest satisfaction by providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and safe room at the Radisson Seattle‑Tacoma. Job Location Radisson Seattle‑Tacoma Pay Details Hourly wage: $20.74. Key Responsibilities Clean assigned guest rooms or suites per brand standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, arranging room furniture if required, and cleaning bathrooms. Maintain cleaning protocols. Empty all trash containers and replace liners. Restock usable items in guest rooms or suites, such as soap, towels, amenities, and paper items. Remove and dispose of guest room trays, glass, and silverware appropriately. Clean and vacuum exterior entry and hallways. Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized. Ensure guest laundry and dry‑cleaning orders are attended to promptly. Notify supervisor promptly of any special guest‑room issues, including maintenance needs. Promptly handle guest complaints or requests and refer to supervisor if unable to resolve. Ensure that all rooms or suites are secured upon leaving. Provide personal attention, take responsibility, and work as a team to deliver genuine hospitality. Listen, apologize with empathy, find solutions, and follow through when resolving guest problems. Assume responsibility to notice when a guest is not satisfied and use best judgment to enforce 100% Guest Satisfaction. Perform other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality. Requirements Minimum one‑year hospitality experience in housekeeping. Follow instructions and communicate effectively. Work well independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to exceptional guest service. Ability to clean multiple room types and meet daily cleaning quotas. Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Adhere to hotel policies and procedures. Physical Demands Perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Lift up to 50 pounds. Pull or push up to 100 pounds. Squat, bend, kneel, and twist. Stand for long periods. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Other Information The hotel operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must be ready to adjust shifts and duties as business dictates.
