- Coordinate and maintain nursing staff schedules
- Fill open shifts while minimizing overtime and agency usage
- Communicate staffing needs with managers and nursing leadership
- Maintain accurate staffing records and schedules
- Assist with call-offs, shift changes, and daily staffing adjustments
- Ensure staffing meets regulatory and facility requirements
- Collaborate with leadership to support recruitment and retention efforts
- Previous staffing, scheduling, or healthcare experience preferred
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
