Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find organized Disassembly Production Technicians to join their dynamic team. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

The Shop Technician (Tear Down & Prep) will handle disassembling actuators and preparing them for being rebuilt. You will be required to fill out paperwork on the units labeling damaged parts, missing parts, etc. You will be required to maintain a clean work area. This position will require overtime during times of need/high demand.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintaining sand blasting equipment.
• Tearing down/disassembling actuators.
• Organizing job crates during tear down.
• Blasting actuators.
• Maintaining a clean work area.
• Managing tear down schedule with shop manager.
• Tearing down and prepping surplus for inventory.
• Painting actuators.
• Building valve Stem Protectors.

Requirements:

• Good with hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Mechanical, electrical, and carpentry knowledge.
• Performing mechanical disassembly
• Ability to breed a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working in the building

Location: Conroe, TX 77385

Pay Rate: $18 p/h

Schedule: M-F, 8:00AM-5PM - must be available to work extended hours, and occasional weekends as needed
