The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. What You’ll Do Position Overview The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data systems that support business reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to integrate data from various sources, optimize data quality, and deliver actionable insights through reporting and visualization tools. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, Oracle databases, SAP systems, and advanced Excel reporting. In This Role You Will Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data solutions and database structures. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP, Oracle, and other business systems. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business operations and strategic decision-making. Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects within Oracle environments. Integrate and manage data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. Collaborate with business leaders to identify reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance metrics. Develop automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Maintain data governance standards, security protocols, and data integrity across platforms. Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation efforts involving SAP and Oracle applications. Document data processes, reporting standards, and technical specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues while providing ongoing support to end users. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum one (1) year of experience with Oracle databases and SQL development (coop/internship experience accepted) Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
