Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room evening/night shift position requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Room department setting
• Evening/night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM-3:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every 3rd weekend required (Saturday/Sunday night shift)
• Holiday coverage required
• No floating required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• BLS must be American Heart or American Red Cross certified
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required, 5+ years preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• New graduates will not be considered
• Prior travel nursing experience required with at least 1 completed travel assignment
• 2 professional references required, with 1 reference from most recent travel assignment
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must have been separated for 12 months to be considered as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts or 7 days for 13-week contracts
• Must work at least 1-2 holidays during the contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Local radius of 50 miles applies
• Facility conducts a brief candidate interview as part of the hiring process
