Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years acute rehab experience - REQUIRED License: Michigan RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - 2 years of acute rehabilitation experience Description: Our facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Rehabilitation department. The RN will work in an inpatient setting catering to patients who are acutely ill. The role involves evaluating patients with unstable medical conditions and collaborating with health care professionals. Clinical judgment skills are essential to diagnose and treat patient responses to health conditions. The RN will assess, monitor, and plan to prevent potential physiological complications. Promoting optimal health is a critical focus of this position. The RN is accountable for integrating care within the scope of practice, licensure, education, and experience. This position reports to the shift Team Leader and is accountable to the Department Manager. The RN will utilize Policies and Procedures to guide job duties. Responsibilities include collaborating with the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans. These plans are based on comprehensive physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments. The RN must seek life-long learning through certification and advanced education. Demonstrating leadership by sharing knowledge and serving as a clinical resource is expected. Effective communication through collegial relationships and interdisciplinary communication is essential. The RN will showcase enhanced time management skills to contribute to the overall performance of the team. Performing other duties consistent with the purpose of the job as directed is also required. Attendance is considered crucial, and a strict attendance policy will be enforced.
