Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Bakersfield, California. This role involves delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care to patients in the emergency department. The position requires supervising and directing nursing staff, collaborating with healthcare team members, and ensuring a safe, healing environment for patients and their families.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification; recent Emergency Department (ED) experience; greater than 2 years of experience, ideally 3 or more.
• Additional Information: This position involves collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role includes discharge planning, delegating responsibilities, and providing patient and family education to promote health and safety.
