CNC Machinist-Level II

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working CNC Machinist-Level II to support our shop and pipe yard operations for a company based in Houston, Texas. The Machinist will implement all data entry systems and processes and will provide daily support for software programming applications.

Pay Rate:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule Hours

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

CNC Machinist Duties and Responsibilities

· Demonstrates a good working knowledge of machine tooling applications and servicing. Works closely with other machinists to provide technical assistance to tooling related issues.

· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery; read and follow prints and schematics as required

· Demonstrates a good working knowledge of machine equipment functions and servicing. Able to perform preventive maintenance as assigned.

· Demonstrates working knowledge of the process flow of parts through the manufacturing process.

· Load and unload raw materials onto the CNC machine, selecting appropriate materials based on project requirements.

CNC Machinist Qualifications and Requirements

· 3 – 5 years’ experience as CNC Machinist 1 or equivalent, with demonstrated proficiency in operating multi-axis CNC machines

· Ability to read blueprints. Performs all in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers and height gauges)

· Ability to independently set up CNC machines.

· Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks or projects

· Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background check.
