- FULL TIME This position provides a variety of support services in the areas of transportation, environmental services, security, and maintenance for Del Amo Behavioral Health Systems. This position performs a variety of duties in and around the facility; responsibilities include but not limited to: Maintains orderly and sanitary conditions of the facility, cleans and services the facility and ground areas; protects life and property of all persons on facility premises, patrols building and grounds to prevent fire, theft and vandalism and secures, unlocks and protects building; responds to security needs of facility personnel and guests, and assists the front lobby reception during visiting hours to ensure that contraband is checked. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; On-The-Job Training provided Completion of Security Training program or equivalent preferred. Crendtial Valid California Driver's License Class C in order to drive hospital/facility vehicles or on hospital business. Experience Experience working in behavioral health preferred. Previous experience in enviornmental services (hospital/hotel industry) preferred. Two (2) years in a hospital enviornment preferred. Minimum Requirements Of The Positon Must be able to demonstrate special training, knowledge and skills specific to job (i.e. van/driver’s training, etc.) and/or program specific competency within the first three (3) months of training, and annually thereafter. Must complete all required mandatory inservices annually. Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin test required annually or chest x-ray tri-annually thereafter. Must be certified in Handle With Care training within the first three (3) months of hire and annually thereafter if assigned to Security or Transportation duties.
