Job Summary As a Licensed Practical Nurse at our skilled nursing facility, you'll work alongside medical professionals who share your passion for delivering high‑quality care. We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team, committed to providing exceptional medical care to our diverse patient population. Objectives of this role Deliver a high standard of medical care according to the specific orders of each patient's physician Work alongside staff members as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team Follow a model of care that supports the wellness of our patients and staff Serve as a primary source of medical information for patients and caregivers Foster a supportive and compassionate environment of care for patients and their families Responsibilities Taking and monitoring patient vital signs Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing Administering medication Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to nurses, physicians, and family members Maintaining accurate patient records Collecting specimen samples when needed Taking an active part in patient care planning Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants and training Preparing patients for transfers or discharge Assisting in medical procedures Managing emergency medical situations Required skills and qualifications Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility Bachelor's of science degree (or equivalent) in nursing Licensure as an LPN in the State of Florida Basic life support (BLS) certification Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred skills and qualifications Ability to communicate in more than one language One or more years of experience in a skilled nursing facility Salary $28.25 - $31.00 hourly Benefits Comprehensive benefits package How to Apply If you are a dedicated and compassionate LPN looking for a challenging and rewarding role, please apply to this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr Miramar Post-Acute Care Solutions
