And we’re excited to get to know you and find out what you’ll bring to this hands-on, diverse nursing role Your Everyday Prioritize and coordinate nursing care for patients undergoing scheduled and emergent interventional radiology procedures. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments before procedures and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team. Establish and maintain IV access and provide direct nursing care during procedures. Monitor patients during and after procedures and provide recovery care according to department protocols. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. Maintain a safe environment and follow infection-control, safety, and Joint Commission requirements. Safely care for patients in an environment where radiation-producing equipment is used. Monitor patients for changes in condition and address patient and family questions and concerns. Provide patient and family education and support continuity of care. Advocate for patients and contribute to a positive patient experience. Assist team members and communicate with supervisors when additional support is needed. The Must-Haves Minimum of one year of recent acute-care nursing experience. Current Louisiana RN license. Current American Heart Association BLS certification. Current American Heart Association ACLS certification. Preferred Previous RN experience in Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Perioperative Nursing, Cardiac Catheterization, or another procedural environment. Shift Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. WORK SHIFT: Days (United States of America) LCMC Health is a community. Our people make health happen.
