Case Staffing Manager

The Case Staffing Manager is responsible for the allocation and staffing of legal matters within Jackson Lewis. This position will initially support the broader case staffing efforts and may later be aligned with specific offices as practices expand. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of matter staffing, understanding each case’s unique needs and the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities of attorneys. Use firm resources and technology to match attorneys to assignments. Ensure attorneys’ caseloads remain on track to meet billable requirements. Handle transitions of matters during attorney departures, leaves of absence, and integration of new hires. Maintain a client‑focused approach to strengthen relationships within local offices. Skills and Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience at a litigation law firm; employment law preferred. Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Key Skills Attention to detail and multitasking in a fast‑paced setting. Advanced organizational and time‑management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to interface effectively with employees at all levels of the firm. Proficiency in technology use and assessment. Success in collaborative team environments. Compensation Salary range: $125,000 – $160,000 (location based, with potential annual bonuses).
