Description: Full-time Health Room Assistant, 7.0 hours/day, 186 days/year, working 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (tentative hours - could change based on needs of health room) with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch at multiple buildings.

Salary Range: Range 0, beginning of range is $21.09 per hour, hourly wage will be determined based on experience. The position works all 181 student days plus three additional staff development days and is paid for two holidays (Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). This is a full-time position that offers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as the PA School Employee Retirement System. Paid sick, personal, and bereavement days are available each year.


Job Summary: Assist with the daily health care of students and faculty and assist with the maintenance of student health records under the direction of the Certified School Nurse.

Qualifications: A PA nursing license as an RN or LPN and a CPR and First Aid certification is required. Must possess knowledge of basic medical care, medication and terminology as well as general office and decision making skills.
