Occupational Therapist

Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10

Experience: Experience in outpatient hand therapy is required. Experience working with post-op hand surgeries and splinting is required.

License: Must hold a valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or be license eligible.

Certifications: BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire required. CHT certification preferred. NBCOT certification required.

Must-Have: Clinical experience in the practice setting is required. Experience with Epic Charting is a hard stop requirement.

Description: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for patient evaluation. Development and follow-through of treatment plans is expected to support the organizational mission. The role involves working with patients recovering from hand surgeries. Splinting techniques must be applied as needed for patient care. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and teamwork. Interdisciplinary support may be available to enhance patient care.
