Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Bellevue, Washington.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 18 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 18 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and WA/compact licensure for a night shift 18-week assignment.Details\n \n Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting\n Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 1845-0715\n Care includes high-risk antepartum, mother/baby, and postpartum patients\n Experience with Magnesium Sulfate drips and C-Sections required\n Floating to Postpartum unit required based on patient care needs\n No block scheduling; flexibility required\n 18-week assignment length\n Requirements\n \n Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration\n Minimum 3 years of L&D experience in a unit with comparable volume and acuity required\n Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP\n Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM\n EPIC charting experience required\n Previous travel nursing experience required\n Skilled in fetal monitoring, including EFM and IUPC placement\n Experience managing high-risk OB conditions such as pre-eclampsia, PPROM, and placenta previa\n Skilled in postpartum care including couplet care and hemorrhage management\n Additional Information\n \n Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care\n Support high-risk antepartum and newborn care including neonatal resuscitation\n Assist with C-Section circulation, scrubbing, and recovery\n RTO must be 5 days or less and disclosed prior to consideration\n Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as non-local candidates\n Travel pairs accepted\n Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire as a traveler\n Charge experience preferred but not required\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-751922.
