Latin Asian Fusion Restaurant and Coffeehouse JobOur kitchen takes something from one culinary continent and smashes it into another: Latin food that speaks with an Asian accent. Conceived at the markets and landing here on Main Street. Running out of an old mechanic's station, combining two separately functioning garages to create our restaurant and Coffeehouse. Business bustles inside and out along the downtown Clarkston strip. Patrons can pop in for house-roasted and brewed pour-over coffee, pastries and juices while others saddle up to the bar for full kitchen service, drinks and margarita sloshies. The main restaurant dining room offers table, booth or counter seating for full lunch and dinner service or to grab a taco and a sack of homemade donuts hot out of the fryer. Competitive pay and benefits including medical and supplemental insurance, on-demand pay, referral bonus, 401(k) and PTO!Position SummaryEnsuring cleanliness of the bar area including bar supply storage areas, preparing vacated bar space for new guests, maintain a well-stocked bar area to expedite guest service and assisting bartenders as needed.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Removes all dishes and other items from bar following the mealCleans and prepares bar area for new guests in accordance to the Joint's standardsPerforms opening, closing and ongoing cleaning side work as assignedAssists bartending staff by answering guest questions, pre-bussing, refilling N/A beverages etc. to ensure quality guest experienceChanging out empty kegs and maintenance of beer and returnable storageSupports bartending and waitstaff in other duties as requiredStocking and preparing bar suppliesPerforms other work-related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.) Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred High energy and stamina are required Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively Strong verbal communication skills required Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documentsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
