Legal Assistant

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for a rewarding position where your work makes a difference? Our office is seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated legal assistant. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with clients, and can keep multiple tasks moving in a busy legal environment. This job entails interacting with clients, other attorney offices and court staff while also drafting, editing, and filing court documents. If you like writing and editing professional letters and enjoy the advocacy that comes along with the written word this job might be for you. We offer the flexibility that only a small firm can provide and we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Provide administrative support Handle communication with clients, court staff, and other attorney offices Drafting, editing and filing legal documents Phone skills: scheduling appointments and calendaring court dates Qualifications Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize the work as it comes in Enjoys staying busy at work Ability to type in Microsoft word and figure out case management software Proficient in English sufficient to write professional letters and other legal documents #J-18808-Ljbffr
