Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within a collaborative team environment. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery through expert clinical practice and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans utilizing the nursing process.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate effective care delivery.
• Collaborate with team members through shared governance to promote optimal patient outcomes and evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and excellence consistent with PRIDE core values in all interactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid New Jersey Nursing License.
• Have at least 1 year of critical care experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
• Hold or obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• CCRN certification strongly preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
