Welding Foreman - Structural Steel FabricationWe are seeking an experienced Welding Foreman to oversee shop production, lead a team of welders and fitters, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role within a rapidly growing fabrication facility that has recently doubled in size, added brand-new welding machines and metal fabrication equipment, and continues to expand its workforce and capabilities.This position offers the opportunity to lead fabrication efforts on large-scale structural steel projects used in high-rise buildings, launch pads, aerospace infrastructure, and heavy support structures.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily activities of welders, fitters, and shop personnelEnsure production goals, quality standards, and deadlines are metProvide hands-on support with welding, fit-up, and fabrication when neededRead and interpret weld prints, fabrication drawings, and project specificationsAssign work, monitor productivity, and maintain workflow throughout the shiftTrain and mentor employees on welding techniques, safety practices, and quality expectationsConduct inspections to verify weld quality and adherence to specificationsPromote and enforce a safe work environmentCommunicate effectively with management regarding production schedules, manpower needs, and project statusQualifications5+ years of structural steel welding experiencePrevious leadership experience as a Lead Welder, Welding Supervisor, Foreman, or similar roleStrong flux-core welding experience using 1/16" wire on carbon steelAbility to read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawingsExperience with fit-up and fabrication processesStrong understanding of shop safety and quality standardsAbility to lead by example and motivate a team in a fast-paced production environmentWhy Join Us?Competitive pay: $35-$40/hrConsistent overtime opportunities available, including SaturdaysRecently expanded facility with significant investment in equipment and technologyNew welding machines and modern fabrication equipmentStable, long-term work on high-profile projectsClear opportunities for advancement and leadership growthWork on structural components supporting high-rises, launch pads, aerospace projects, and major infrastructureIf you're an experienced welding leader looking to take the next step in your career with a growing structural steel fabrication company, we'd like to speak with you today.
