Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with hematologic, oncologic, immunocompromised, and cardiac conditions, including those with complex fluid and medication management needs and single or multi-system complications
• Independently analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms for assigned patients; unit does not utilize monitor technicians
• Administer chemotherapy and manage continuous infusion medications including cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin
• Perform IV starts, peripheral lab draws, arterial blood draws, and central line care
• Manage wound VAC dressing changes, wound drains, chest tubes, and tracheotomy patients
• Participate in self-scheduling, including 3 out of 4 holidays and 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule; all time off must be arranged prior to confirmation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
• Must pass EKG and Pharmacology exams during the pre-start compliance process

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong oncology nursing background
• Phlebotomy skills including peripheral and arterial blood draws
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and pain management protocols
