Role Overview

As a Cardiac‑Vascular Sonographer, you will serve as a key member of the cardiovascular team performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound and Doppler studies. You will work independently with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and support providers in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound and Doppler diagnostic studies
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate, high-quality imaging results
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with interpretation support and patient care
• Maintain compliance with imaging protocols and quality standards
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Document findings and maintain accurate records within clinical systems
• Support overall workflow and clinical operations within the cardiovascular team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education – Required

• Completion of a Technical School program in Echocardiography or Ultrasound

Education – Preferred

• Associate's degree in a related field

Experience

• Required: 2 years of ultrasound experience specializing in cardiac and vascular imaging
• Preferred: 5 years of ultrasound experience

Certifications – Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) OR RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) OR RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) within 1 year of hire
