Truck Driver CDL A Regional

Position Description We are hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Houston, TX. The position offers weekly pay with a competitive compensation package including a base pay of $1600 weekly or more, a $2000 sign‑on bonus (half paid at 30 days and half at 90 days), and paid training. Schedule & Route Tuesday‑Saturday shift with 2 consecutive days off each week. 1‑2 layovers per week. Start time 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM (dispatch). Route: SOLO to TX, LA, MS, AR, OK. Tractor: Day Cab or Sleeper, manual transmission required. Trailer: 48′–53′ dry van with lift gate. Freight: Touch – automotive parts. Endorsements: Hazmat (to be obtained at interview) – 9‑12 months Hazmat experience required. CDL A experience: 9‑12 months within past 3 years, 2 years within past 5 years, or 5 years within past 10 years acceptable. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs. Load and unload freight, or assist with loading/unloading as required by customer. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age. Class A CDL with required endorsements. Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test. Provide verifiable CDL A experience: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within past 5 years, or 5 years within past 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures. Must have 9‑12 months Hazmat experience and at least 12 months CDLA driving experience.
