Schedule: Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 3 Days per Week

Contract Type: Epic Backfill Assignment (36–48 Hours Weekly)

Position Summary

The Sleep Center Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of Sleep Apnea Services across the healthcare network. This leadership role coordinates services between hospital departments, physician groups, and rural health clinics while ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to maintaining excellence in patient care and departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of Sleep Apnea Services.
• Coordinate services across hospital departments, physician practices, and rural health clinics.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, financial monitoring, and operational planning.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to department staff.
• Establish and maintain professional standards aligned with the organization's mission and vision.
• Ensure all equipment meets patient safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Conduct educational in-services and training sessions for staff.
• Maintain and update departmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director on technical operations and staff competency.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Associate Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years of technical experience in a related field.

Required

• Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
• Ability to effectively lead teams, coordinate programs, and manage departmental operations.
