Electrophysiology Technician

Our client, an established healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Technician for an onsite, 90-day contract engagement in Albany, New York. The role supports a cardiac electrophysiology laboratory performing diagnostic studies, ablations, and device implantation procedures. This is a specialized, high-skill position for a technologist who is comfortable in a procedural environment and confident with complex cardiac mapping and monitoring equipment. It offers substantial technical challenge alongside a well-established EP team and a clearly defined engagement window.

Prior hands-on experience in a cardiac electrophysiology laboratory is required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required at the time of hire. You must demonstrate confident cardiac rhythm and intracardiac electrogram interpretation, working knowledge of EP recording and stimulation systems, and familiarity with ablation and cardiac device implantation workflows. Applicable licensure or certification for practice in New York is required, which may include RCES, RCIS, ARRT registration, or state radiologic technology licensure depending on your background. Sterile technique competency, the ability to wear lead for extended procedures, and availability for onsite work including call coverage are essential.

This engagement pays an hourly rate in the range of $71.38 to $73.38, reflecting the specialized nature of the role and commensurate with experience and certifications held. The assignment runs 90 days with a defined end date. You will work alongside experienced electrophysiologists and EP staff in a well-equipped laboratory, with exposure to a broad range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
