Family Practice - Geriatrics Physician

We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for an outpatient primary care locums assignment at a busy CareMore clinic in Downey, California. This role focuses on adult and geriatric primary care , serving a high-volume patient population in a structured clinic environment with strong APP and staff support.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient setting , with consistent weekday hours and no inpatient responsibilities .

Position details:
Adult and geriatric primary care
High-volume clinic (approximately patients per day)
Focus on chronic disease management and preventive care

Experience with HEDIS and quality metrics preferred

Schedule:
Monday Friday
8:00am 5:00pm
Start date: ASAP
Initial duration: 6 months with potential to extend

Requirements:
MD or DO
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active California license
Minimum 1 year of outpatient primary care experience
DEA and BLS required
Comfort with geriatric patient population
