Why This Job Exists 

This role executes day-to-day item setup and request fulfillment for item setup. Requests arrive from multiple internal departments and external partners; this role reviews, sets up, and progresses each request through to SAP submission, keeping status current on the department's shared request board. 

Requirements

What You Know and Have Done

• You have experience with apparel product development, product coordination, or a similarly detail-heavy, high-volume operational role. 

• You are comfortable working across multiple systems (PLM/Centric-type systems, Excel) and switching between many concurrent, differently-paced requests. 

• You have strong attention to detail — this role is a check on accuracy before requests move downstream to Design/Production. 

• You communicate clearly and proactively in writing, following up directly with internal departments and external partners. 

• You are able to work independently once trained, while flagging issues and workload conflicts rather than defaulting to yes on everything. 

What You'll Do 

• You execute day-to-day item setup and request fulfillment across all item setup intake types — SMU briefs, Quick Turn, Weekly Recolors, Keep It Simple, Corporate orders, Name Drop, and Playmaker Project requests. 

• You work daily in Rocket and Centric to complete item creation, GAN lookup, vendor and collection assignment, and final SAP submission. 

• You review incoming briefs for accuracy before routing to the Design/Production Art team — checking item numbers, colors, and completeness to avoid rework and back-and-forth. 

• You coordinate with the Design/Production Art department on line sheets, mechanicals, and imagery timing. 

• You manage requests from the Wholesale department — SMU briefs and seasonal pre-plan (including Peru production) handoffs. 

• You manage requests from the eComm department — Quick Turn (recurring twice-weekly cadence) and Weekly Recolor batches. 

• You handle Corporate order setup, including D2G activation coordination when items print via D2G. 

• You support requests from the Playmaker Project (internal nonprofit partner) for event-based custom orders. 

• You coordinate with the Sourcing department for production pricing quotes on imported/Peru-produced items, and with the Purchasing and Planning department to reconcile blanks inventory. 

• You log and update every request in the shared request board, keeping status current so departmental workload is visible without relying on email threads.
