Network Administrator

Network Architects is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) located in the Kirkland area. Our team of professionals is energetic, fun, and loves the IT industry. These services include areas such as monitoring, reporting, maintenance, remote support, hardware upgrades, networking, and more. We are rapidly growing and as such are in need of motivated IT professionals to join our team. Network Administrator The Network Administrator works within our Service Desk under our Service Manager to deliver exceptional service to customers daily by remotely diagnosing, repairing, and resolving Network/Systems service needs and issues, such as but not limited to, software/hardware failures, configuration changes, software upgrades, and hardware replacement. Network Administrators will have demonstrated a high aptitude of troubleshooting ability for Networks, as well as a robust foundation in Systems Administration. Network Administrators will be responsible for deployment of new Network Equipment, as well as assisting with the Service Desk under the supervision of the Service Manager. This will be an in-office position, with requirements to visit Client sites, as required. The role will consist of completing Remote Support/Administration for our full client base, and on-site support for Washington and Oregon Clients. Responsibilities: Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and Network-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner. Assist with the setup and configuration of Windows systems, peripherals, and software applications. Maintain Windows server infrastructure, including backups, OS/firmware patching, and monitoring performance. Maintain various Client support systems (Server Backup, Windows Patching, Network Management). Assist Engineering Staff with Network/Server hardware deployments. Train End Users in the use of software and hardware as needed. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions. Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications/Skills Required (Basic): Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP). Experience with Active Directory, GPO, Microsoft 365, and LAN technologies. Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions. Attention to detail and strong ability to detect issues quickly. Good understanding of IP networking and Internet technologies. Cisco/Cisco Meraki/SonicWALL Networks knowledge. Working knowledge of Wireless Systems/Deployments is desired. Advanced working knowledge of Windows Servers is desired. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of macOS technical support is a plus. MUST be able to travel to Corporate HQ (Kirkland, WA). Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance. Ability to maintain professional appearance. Ability to maintain punctuality. Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule. Willingness to continue education/attain Certifications if/when requested. Ability to work well in a team. Ability to work on and adjust to multiple client networks in one day. Ability to handle stressful situations. Ability to carry up to 40 lbs. Ability to utilize ladders. Background check required. Experience Required: 3-4 Years’ experience supporting Windows 10/11 in an enterprise environment. 3-4 Years’ experience supporting Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 in an enterprise environment. 3-4 Years’ experience supporting Users in a remote capacity. Experience (within a Corporate Environment) with the following vendors desired: Microsoft 365 (Administration).

SonicWALL (Firewalls). Cisco (Firewalls/Switches/Wireless). Cisco Meraki (Firewalls/Switches/Wireless). Aruba (HPE) (Switches/Wireless). Microsoft Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022). Desired certifications, but not required: CCNA/CWNA/CMNA.

MS-900, MD-102, MS-102.
