Distribution ManagerLinde Gas & Equipment Inc.Houston, TX, United States | req31998What you will enjoy doing:Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day distribution operations to ensure customer demand is met consistently and efficientlyEnsure all operational activities are conducted safely and reliably in full compliance with HAZMAT and Department of Transportation (DOT) documentation requirementsMaintain supply reliability for customers and locations, ensuring all medical gas deliveries comply with FDA standards and Linde's quality assurance systemSchedule delivery of packaged and cryogenic products to meet internal goals, customer expectation and operational standardsMaintain, review and verify work order summaries to ensure timely shipmentsLead safety initiatives, including administering safety training, conducting evaluations, and overseeing accident investigationsManage personnel fairly and consistently, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages motivation, information sharing, and employee empowermentWhat makes you great:High school diploma; college degree is strongly preferredMinimum of two (2+) years of leadership experience, along with at least two (2+) years in Distribution, Logistics, or TransportationStrong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situationsDemonstrated reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with the proven ability to work independently and while maintaining a high level of accountabilityProven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict in a fair and constructive mannerBasic computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new applicationsWhy you will love working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
