Sales Associate - Chico's

Position Objective The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability. The role aims to embody company values and guide principles at the forefront of all store operations. Functional Responsibilities Drive for Results Meet company sales goals by using sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers; recommend merchandise selections or help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintain pricing and visual standards. Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties directed by Management. Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance. Customer Experience Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni‑channel experience. Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns. Ensure a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns and exchanges, security practices and other applicable operations. Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add‑on goals including gift‑card sales. Sign up clients for the reward program. Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobe‑building. Know current product fit and style assortment offerings in store and online. Maintain consistent client communication through utilization of customer book. Operational Excellence Support replenishment activities that keep the store full and abundant. Assist with location fulfillment. Assist with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement and other tasks as directed. Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization. Teamwork and Growth Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving. Seek personal developmental opportunities and readily solicit feedback. Other duties as assigned. This position may be found in multiple brands; some duties may vary from brand to brand. Qualifications Retail or sales experience preferred. Must be 16 years of age or older. Excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to communicate with customers, Associates, and Management. Regular attendance is essential to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives; ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Constant walking/standing: 67-100% of an 8‑hour shift. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.: 1-33% of an 8‑hour shift. Frequent climbing: 34-66% of an 8‑hour shift.
