Salary: $158,000 - 198,000 per year Requirements:

• 2–4 years of application development experience with Python, SQL, REST APIs, and related technologies
• Practical experience with data validation and debugging
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework; Vue.js is preferred
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and automated testing, plus the ability to explain and verify code changes
• Experience using LLM coding assistants such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, or Codex to investigate code, plan and implement fixes, and create tests
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
• U.S. citizenship to support U.S. Government programs
• A bachelors degree in an engineering discipline from an institution accredited in the United States
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Must live in the DC metro area

• Implement scoped Python backend fixes and REST API integrations using Flask or FastAPI
• Improve the Vue.js interface, including answer presentation, citations, tables, and error states
• Use SQL and graph queries to validate records, relationships, and financial fields, and trace issues across retrieval, backend responses, and UI rendering
• Create regression tests and document expected and actual results, supporting evidence, defects, and remaining limitations
• Keep code changes focused, maintain technical documentation, and provide clear progress updates
• Support controlled validation and releases
• Track and report on technical milestones and the overall project schedule
• Participate in and support internal and external engagements, including client meetings, conferences, and industry days
• Assess operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate implementation
• Attend meetings and program reviews, and help prepare presentations, written materials, and electronic communications as needed
• Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required
